This is a beautiful shot. Not much is needed to capture the moment before the sun comes up. It is very simple minimalistic composition against a backdrop of soft atmospheric shades of pink. This is a fine example of "less is more" with color being the key aspect of the scenery.

The colors are from a dreamscape of another world. Peaceful and calming.
The land jutting out from the right is nothing short of brilliant framing. It gives the entire scene identity and depth.

I really like the simplicity of this photo with the wonderful colors of a coming sunrise, and the completely calm sea. I can almost hear the absence of noise.
The silhouetted landscape is standing out sharp and well defined against the sea and the sky. The exposure is perfect.
The photo is nicely cropped, and it is a good balance in the composition. It is a lovely and well taken photo Fred, and with an excellent DOF.

The rising sun adding a pink hue to the sky above that's then reflected on the glistening surface of the sea framed by the silhouetted hills & rocks.
