Hi Michele, I so wish this was a little lighter because it's such a gorgeous shot! Love the way the flowers are arranged. The mixture of carnations, berries, roses and pine cones makes such a lovely display. Focus is very nice! My only concern is that it's a little dark, other than that I love it! Good luck in the contest!

It does appear lighter in the large image. Still would like to see it a little brighter, but despite that,the image is still gogeous

At first I thought it a tad dark but the more I view it especially on a large screen the more I see how supple the idea is. The roses and trimmings are beautifully captured and there is a festival feel about the presentation.

Indeed, Roses are Red. I love the presentation of these crimson bouquet of flowers with brown pines and evergreen leaves against the dark background. This piece made me think of Christmas Season. Excellent focus showing the details with clarity. Pretty festive.
