This abstract drawing was made on a 12"x12" textured paper using pencil and black ink pens on thick paper. First, the base shapes were sketched lightly in pencil. Then, flowing and looping lines were added to create a sense of rhythm and movement. Then, some white paint was used to fill in gaps with a textural effect. The black-and-white finish was chosen to highlight the forms and textures without the distraction of colour.
