I asked these men if I would be disturbing them if I took some photographs, they welcomed me, saying they could use a redirection. They had just returned from a call involving a woman having a heart attack at the local WalMart. The woman was the mother of one of the firemen attending the EMS. They all new and loved this woman because she was very involved with them because of her son being a part of their family. Everyday of the week she would bring her fresh brownies, cookies, or cheesecakes to the team on call. The guys were very worried and heartbroken for their fellow firefighter. They started joking and teasing me because I was not saying a word. I started joking back and we were all eventually laughing. As I was walking away I smiled because of the continued laughter. The mother did pass two days later. My heart dropped heavily-
