To Jake With Love

OK, buds, I have had this photo for a while, didn't post because of all the distractions in the photo, but for my love of this home and my love for Jake, I decided his story needed to be told--so I view this as journalism, not a piece of art----

I knocked on the door, a very petite black man opened the door--conversation began;

"What ya need Ms. Fine?"
LowRider, "Howdy, names Debbie and I would love to photograph your home".
"People call me Jake the Flake."
LowRider, "Why people call ya that, Jake?"
Then he turned his back to me and 'mooned' me!
Laughing while turning to face me, I responded with a poker face, "Ya know, ya startin' ta crack."
Jake laughed even harder and was eager to show me the home he built from cutting down trees in the mountains. Said people 'done' made fun of him all his life 'cause he is real short so he started moonin' everybody to make them laugh instead of hear their unkind words. He invited me in to have some pork-n-beans with vienna sausage with him. Grinning, I said, "Let's chow down!". We had great and tear jurking conversation. I told him in my eyes he was one of the biggest men I had ever met. Jake looked at me with slight tears and said, "You mean that Ms. Fine Debbie?"
LowRider, "I most certainly do Mr. Fine Jake!"
Long pause, LowRider, "Jake, you cook?"
Jake, "Used to hep my wife cook all tha time 'till she died on me."
LowRider, "Welp, I am comin' back end of next week, we gonna clean everything in this kitchen, then we gonna cook us a meal. Now, even though you a 'Fine man', if ya moon me again, I'm takin' a picture and gonna make a billboard out of it! Just want ya to know that ain't your best side!"
Jake, "I sho do be sorry for that, I'm jist not used to people bein' nice to me. I think my wife sent you to me from the heavens to put me in my place."
LowRider, "Mr. Jake, you are a fine man and I am honored to meet you, but I gotta go."
Jake, "When ya comin' again?"
LowRider, "Next Thursday if that is ok."

Went back the following Thursday, rather early AM, the whole home was spotless. Jake said I made him smile and it gave his whole house a smile.
