Of course October is all about strong and vibrant colored trees and bushes, but for me it is also the color of heather. I always have a big pot of them at the front door in the autumn. All the leaves and the pods are from my garden as well, and I arranged them and put them together on the top of the heather. They are not sitting there permanently. Just so that I could take this photo
