I have since been unmuted by this member. I have no idea why, presumably other active members have decided to speak honesty to her since the two+ years I've decided to not really be here...

bushimages : They look good, hope you sell all of them!with all the extra sunshine in Australia sometimes facing a door is not such a good thing?I even advise customer not to hang the images directly facing doors or windows in there own homes due to refections and changes in temperature, but we get 35*C temps in summer!:)

Just learned that some of my work is being considered for inclusion in a new medical center. May not make the cut (March) but find the honor of consideration, offsets the down from being rejected from the first art fair I applied to this year.

The copyright feature is a nice addition although the price is rather absurd. There may have been some initial implementation charge but the ongoing cost to implement this feature on and image can not be more than penneys if that. This site is losing many of its talented people and the excessive cost of this feature does not help to keep me here. Something like this should be implemented across the board as an added feature, perhaps with an initial one time cost. The reduced charge to apply to all of my past images at a reduced cost is nice but it sitll would cost me multiple hundreds of dollars. If I decide to use this on all images, the additional cost for a basic promote now doubles.
dodgement : I do not think there will be any takers, Should be free. Few people have left because of copying.If it came to a dispute, As long as you have the original on file without mods, That's proof enough.

Lucien van Oosten : I agree, the cost should be reduced. I do like the intent, but not the amount of the fee. I would suggest like a $0.25 to add to an image max, Just so that the site can recoop the time it took to create the feature and the cost for upkeep.

Found another venue - a upscale furniture store wants me to bring in about 25 images for their Spring celebration starting in March. Know the current photographer there and he has done well. One never knoww what outlets one can find and it sure beats my framed images sitting in the basement. Additional exposure and the possibility of nice sales. As the owner said, the furniture and the images each complement each other.

Had my show opening last night. Got a lot of great comments (sincere?) but only sold two pieces. Several others said that they will most likely purchase one and I received an offer of another show, perhaps two. Laying one self open to the public is both satisfying and at the same time rather scary. Both an ego boost and teardown. I exited the experience still not knowing how I did. One pair of people were doing 6 show openings for last night, wonder if they are doing reivews. All I know is that I survived but still know not how I did.

blairwacha : Cephus, patience is sometimes difficult. All you can do is let folks see what you have and hope that you find a customer with similar taste. It's often almost funny how different your or my taste may vary from others. Like you've said before, that's the great thing about reviews here, finding out the likings of others.
