I am an artist in Digital art, Mixed media, acrylics, and watercolor. Back in the 70's I had some success with glass paintings. The night before Christmas my house burned to the ground and I lost everything. I did not start painting again until a few years ago due to an illness that kept me less than active. I started with watercolor and loved it. Since then I have found my passion for the Arts renewed.Terrible things happen that can turn out for your betterment in the end if you will not give up. Every day I am thankful for God's goodness to me!

I was pleasantly surprised over the award. It could not have come at a better time as I was considering quitting FAR. I seem to have fallen into a slump that I could not pull out of. I appreciate the encouragement to go on.

I think people get caught up in their busy lives and don't spend as much time reviewing and socializing like they would like to, but there are special members here that stand out in my mind and you are one of them.

lippi1 : congrats on the award...though I have to say I missed what it was for...been away for a long time still working on school but taking a little break to stop off and see some of the work...I think whatever slump you are in...I got to that point too but its time to pick yourself up and get back on track...I was a little sad to not see any work from you on the home page...I only get by every now and then and there are a few people's work I look for...yours is one..so hope the next time I get here you have something up...for now I will click on what you have in the corner on this page and maybe review one or two...don't have too much time..gotta get to the airport in a little to pick up my BFF....(-: cheer up and snap out of it...you were doing so well...you just have to know people really do look forward to seeing your work...
