missjl is loving her adventures in photography and learning new techniques and new types of lenses. She likes to experiment with different ways to shoot her pictures, and she likes using different lenses, filters, and lighting. She is just learning about photo shop adjustments.

It's been a while since I've been online. After the Holidays, my husband and I began packing and we've sinced moved - it's taken us 6 weeks to get everything transferred to the new place. Now we just need to finish unpacking while we get back into the regular routine of life.

We've had an exciting time of it from October to now. My husband was injured and ended up needing paramedics, I've been told I need a brace on my knee, which might? slow me down a bit, and we are packing to move. I am still planning to continue with my photography during all this and I plan to continue to learn as I go.

We're home from Kauai, and I have tons of photos, BUT for right now, I am off to Solvang, CA for a weekend with my girlfriends - can we say "ROADTRIP!"? :-)

I couldn't wait any longer. I went out and purchased another lens. It's a used one, but I don't care. It's in good shape and will serve me well. My class is on Monday and I wanted to be sure to have the lens when I got there. Now I can go out and take MORE photos!

I am still unable to find the standard lens for my camera! I have a telephoto and a macro lens to use, BUT! Where did that other lens go????

I am so enjoying photography, more and more. I am soon going to be taking a couple of classes to learn more about my camera, that's an exciting prospect for me. I want to thank everyone who's given me words of encouragement and suggestions for improvements.

Oh Yeah!! I finally got a new computer and I am able to begin sharing some of my photos again.

I am down to using an ipad. 3 computers have now crashed, and I am not able to replace any one of them. Darn!!

I've been in Las Vegas this week with my girlfriends. We've gotten to go to the Cirque Du Soleil, Viva Elvis; and tomorrow we get to see Celine Dion in concert. Tons of photo ops in all the various casinos

This has been s special week with my husband, celebrating his 65th birthday. We have done lots of photo exploring and adventures, I am looking forward to sharing them with everyone.
