MeGaJEF: Is it me or is "Photography as Art" really becoming just a digital form of "Paint by Numbers?" Everyone seems to be slapping their photos into Photoshop and running them through their favorite processing actions. Now granted, the "binary numbers" used to produce digital images puts out some wonderful photos! And since I'm sure we'll never see a "paint by numbers" version of the 'Mona Lisa' in the Louvre Museum, my comparison may be unfair. But I still believe the "Art" is putting a great photo into the camera. ...And don't get me started on the over-use of macro/close-up modes!

    donkeyoatey: I enjoy what I do with mixed media, I think it is different, and it may not fit into your definition of art, but art is subjective.

    MeGaJEF: The thing about my opinions,.. I like to offer them up for sacrificial treatment! I'm not stuck in my ways,.. well not too bad when it comes to opinions. There are some beautiful images done digitally on the computer. So I'm going to take some time to learn the process better. Give me some time and if I get it,.. I'll eat my words! Thanks for provoking me to try something new!
