lynnkah : I may be a digital artist, and not to offend any of my peers on here who are far beetter than me, but I personally would love to be able to do traditonal art work. Its using more of your own God given skill. Compters are a wonderful thing and the developers behind most of these programs are amazing, the only downfall I see personally, is if someone has a little talent, but can use a computer anyone can put out beautful art, but tradtional is all talent, some better than others mind you, but if we just use digital painting as our main source of media then we loose all the greats like the Norman rockwells of this world. Your work is lovely, don't be discouraged becaue you aren't familuar with digital work, keep at the skill you have. It's okay and fun to check out differnt styles of work, but neveer loose what you love the most. there are some unbeleivable traditonal artist on here, if you haven't seen Jesuel's work, check it out, he is one of many that is amazing at traditonal art.

TwistedZepher : In my opinion, I think your talents with traditional art are wonderful. Yes I know how to use a computer to create art, but you know how to use paint,pencils,charcoal, or whatever medium it is that you are doog at! I agree with Lynnkah on this one. I simply adore your art work and that is why I'm such a fan ^^ Yes digital art has it's ups, but it also has it's downs. One example is, if your computer crashes and you don't have a picture that you have been working on saved, then you've basically lost your picture. When it comes to traditional art, it's just right there and whatever mistake you made you can easily fix it. Be proud of what you do cause I know that I'm just amazed at the wonderful art that you create ^^

michi13 : Thank you both. This is the first time in my life I ever exposed my work. Its scarey to open up for fear of being shamed. My fam and close friends seen some stuff but most of them dont really care...they are just polite, they say ...yeh that's nice ...LOL. so you never REALLY KNOW if your good or not. My one friend who is on fanstory has always been so encouraging. She is enjoying her site too. Ill tell you guys what...Ill do a digital art painting and you do an actual painting and see what we get!

TwistedZepher : Well I attempted to work with paints a while back haha x3 It took soooo long and the picture didn't turn out that well. I want to learn traditional painting though, it all looks so fabulous and beautiful <3

michi13 : Awwww thank you sooooo much. Us artists are so sensitive about our sh@ ... LoL. DONT GIVE UP on the paints. Sometimes you have to put a painting away for a little while then look at it later. Usually you can dive back in and come back out with something great! Your words are so kind and encouraging...i can tell you are a beautiful person.

All the photos I post are fuzzy or dull...my colors are very vibrant....photographers - WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I post pics to Facebook that look better than these!

I have very little formal education in art. What I do is natural, thoughts come and I just lay it down on canvas. I don't draw anything out, it's all brush. I was told don't put too much weight on what others say ~ just do your thing, that's why it is art.
