Same ugly stick and ugly barn in the background as previous post, same time of day, but much different bird. This White Winged Dove has been hanging around my place for almost two years. Unlike others of his kind, he does not migrate but has chosen to stay close by. Perhaps it has something to do with his deformed/damaged feet. He is missing two claws on both of his feet. He is very timid, so much so that the slightest sound or movement when he is nearby will send him off into the woods for the remainder of the day.
