Lovely choice of black background +/- vignette?, to isolate the kittens face and place more emphasis on those gorgeous blue eyes.
Beautifully positioned within the frame looking down to the right hand corner.

I like what you did with this image. The highlighting of the little kitten's face and how the body fades into the background. The eyes look so wonderful & I'm glad no filter was applied there. Color, placement and the impact is just great. Thanks for sharing.

Annie, this deserves a straight '6' but I do not have one left to award you. This is absolutely stunning. It is quite possibly been the best thing you have done. The lighting is exquisite. The detail is wonderful and the way that the cat is enveloped in the darkness is masterful. Absolutely superb work. I have loved viewing this.

Beautiful photo of this adorable little kitten. Love the oil painting filter and the dramatic lighting with the black background. All the focus is on that cute little face. Nice framing with the kitten surrounded by black and the blue eyes really stand out. Great initial impact as well.
