When I saw this I just had to review it so that I got the opportunity to tell you how much I love it. The little baby girl is so incredibly cute and the prettiest smile ever, and all this you have managed to show us by using water and colors. I have done some work in water colors myself, and know how difficult it is to paint something like this.
The blue shaded tones of the background are perfect and is giving this work a lot of depth, but still what I like the nest is the way you have used the light by keeping the left side of the face in a shade and adding high lights to the other.
Most of all is this painted with great attention to details, and I really like how well the yellow flower work as a nice contrast to the other colors, and it is also adding a sweetness and interest to this little scene.
The title is indeed true for this work, because the baby girl must bring sunshine into all the hearts of those looking at her. I am in awe of what you have achieved here. It is indeed a well crafted water color painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

At first glance I thought this was a photo !! Beautifully crafted image with outstanding composition and shading. As opposed to a lot of portraits I see you have capturer the little chap's expression perfectly and have put a twinkle in his eye. Well done and good luck in the contest - Ronnie
