A beautiful picture of these four boys enjoying a dip in this garden pool. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with excellent techniques and sharp focus. Just wondered what this has to do with your X returning to Old Blighty/Britain???

thank you.. well, who would want to leave such a wonderful place where the children run down the garden to get a grapefruit for breakfast? But I am not British, I look for other things in life and felt like queen there when I looked out over MY garden and trees. /My family were farmers in the Wachau!! but then so were his in Killkenny./

Killkenny is NOT in Blighty it's in the Republic of Ireland.

I know, southern Ireland- Himself was half protestant english mother, Irish Catholic father, who was a very nice man. The irish community is very close and very kind over here, and was very irish. People said himself had the worst of the English and the worst of the Irish. Oddly, my sons, reared in the Irish community, are more Irish than he was! |Sad story in a way, but not as bad as ours. Gt grdad fought for black and tans, drummed out of village when he came home, went to Dublin and married a barmaid there, went potatoe picking in Isle of Axholme and set up a pub there, Kenny's pub and was Church warden. His cousin was my best friend at school, only two catholics in a Protestant school, but I am afraid himself was more like his mother than I knew. She committed suicide at 40 yrs old.

A pretty good entry into the competition posted here! Those boys look to be having a great time there splashing around in that pool. Your nice image benefits from being well exposed with good sharpness and exposure. Well done and good luck!
