There is indeed a story hidden in your street shot. I am not sure if this was taken an historic event, or the man tries to kill time or make some money. However, the old man seems to take his job seriously.
Your photo has good depth and is well focused, exposed and adequately treated with mixed media. The photo is well composed and framed. The tall format emphasizes the pose of the old man. The composition is balanced.
