Black Space

Black Space Contest - All Mediums - Black Space is much the same as White space, sometimes referred to as negative space, is a concept that's been used in art and photography. Black Space can be used to turn an average image into an outstanding one. Black space defines and emphasizes the main subject of a photo, drawing your eye to it. It provides breathing room, giving your eyes somewhere to rest and preventing your image from appearing too cluttered with stuff. All of this adds up to a more interesting composition. Put simply, black space is the area which surrounds the main subject in your photo, the main subject is known as the positive space.

The Black Space must be at least 75% of the entry.
