April 2018 Collage Challenge
The topic for this contest is: APRIL 2018 COLLAGE CHALLENGE
Please note the only reason why this contest has anything to do with Mixed Media is because your entry will contain a collage.
This is our fourth monthly collage challenge. Your collage must be completed during the month of April. However, NOT all photos must be taken during April, and yes, you may include one or two previously utilized photos.
For April you will be utilizing the letters G or H; Your collage will contain not less than 3 and not more than 8 photos. You will select either a G or an H and take photos of things beginning with the letter you have chosen. If you select the letter G, for example, you may take photos of many things beginning with the letter G [groom, gold chain, garbage can, gift, grand baby, gum] or many pictures of one thing beginning with the letter G [gun]. If you select one item, gun for example, you will need to take pictures of different guns not different pictures of one gun but one picture of different guns. Remember only one item per photo...in this example...only one gun per photo.
Your title can be anything but must include the letter you chose.
Also, somewhere within your submission, please indicate the date you completed your collage. And if you did choose gun, include what kind of gun [if you don't know, at least where you took the photo at (gun show Summer 2009 in Philadelphia) or maybe say "my friend's gun"]...if you decide to take pictures of many items, be sure to let us know in your artist's notes what those items are.
You can create your collage any which way your little heart desires. It is totally up to you for the layout to the design to the background colors...that is all up to you and of course please submit your entry by the deadline in order to be considered a part of this contest. The photos can be un edited or they can be a true mixed media....all up to you....JUST HAVE FUN and get your COLLAGE JUICES flowing.
Final result is to submit a collage containing at least 3 but no more than 8 photos. Creative approaches are welcomed. But contest voters will be asked to consider the topic when making a choice for a winner.
No digital art or traditional artwork should be submitted.
