Thanksgiving scene

Thanksgiving Wishes

I would have liked to have entered this in the Thanksgiving Card Contest, but had trouble transporting it. This is the best version I could get through.

The two turkeys images are entirely made out of a Hydrangea blossom except for the tail feather, wings and blue feather on neck. The tailfeather was made from a single bracket fungus and had natural arcs. The wing flap and the feathers are made out of the gills (underside of a mushroom.) The neck feather was cut from an image taken of a screen door. Everything was cut and pasted together.
There were a lot of special effects from filters added, glowng edges, dodge and burn, color, exposure, contrast, saturation and others. The turkeys are made up of about twenty pieces.

Though the image did not come through clear enough for the contest, I hope you enjoy it and my Thanksgiving Wishes.
Note: I checked the image when it came in and it looked better than when it ended up in my portfolio
