I haven't a fireplace truth sometime in winter it would be nice. But our chance that or village will be consumed by a wildfire equaled the chance that California has when the Santa Anna is blowing. Open fires in or close to the village are impossible. The only things we do once in a wile are well guarded bonfires 3 miles away from the village on a sandy beach far enough close to the ocean. These bonfires are community events with wienies, hamburgers and marshmallows roasted on the open fire.
The photo of my husband was taken on one of these bonfires.
