A memento of my pregnancy

This sculpture was made when I was pregnant. I used plaster of Paris guaze for the shape. When I began to paint I divided in half. One half represents my daughter's Australian heritage the other side represents her Arizona heritage. She sits upon the banner that has her name. I protrayed her as a sleeping angel waiting to descend to her home on earth.
