The Plumeria, named after the France botanist Charles Plumier, Tree of many names. Frangipani, Flores de Miel, Pagoda Tree, Temple Tree, Lirio de la Costa and Tamaiba are just some of these names. The colors of the blossoms are as many as the names. The scent is sweet and beloved around the world. In Hawaii the blossoms are used for leis to be hung around a visitors neck. The tree is found in tropical climate around the world. The Origin is unclear but it is thought that the tree originated in Central America but the white form is as native of the West Indies.
