The icicles were beautiful, but the window was tricky. It could only be opened halfly, and it was no lock position on it. I was balancing the window and the camera at the same time. A battle I could not possibly win. It is the frame of the window you see in the image. It should not have been there, but it gave nice reflections in the glass. Since it did not turn out the way I wanted, I made this into mixed media. When finished I thought the two largest icicles formed a gate into something. Perhaps the entrance of a castle made of ice.
