Fairies and soap bubbles have nothing to do with each other? Donâ??t laugh. Think about it. There is a magic connection. Have you ever wondered what happened to the fairies in winter? Yes some fly with the birds to warmer countries but what do the others do? Have you ever wondered what happen to soap bubbles when they fly away? Some burst but where do the others go? Those you follow with your eyes until you canâ??t see them anymore? Those bubbles are magical. They fly high, very high to the highest clouds where it is cold. A thin ice coat builds around the bubbles and protects them. They stay in the clouds â??till it gets cold on earth. Then they come down with the first snow right to the meadows in the forests; the flower gardens and all the places where the fairies live. The poor fairies canâ??t fly in the cold. They have no place to live when the flowers are gone. They fold up their wings and put on some warm clothes and then they wait for the magic soap bubbles. These bubbles fall down and right over the fairies. The bubbles hang on tree branches where nobody could step on them. The walls are soft inside the bubbles and it is warm. That makes the fairies very tired. They go to sleep in their bubbles until the spring sun chases the winter away and the snow thaws. The ice coat on the magic bubbles thaw too. The fairies wake up when the first flowers come out. The bubbles burst and the fairies go to live in the new flowers. When you see the snow glistening in the winter maybe these are magic bubbles. When it is summer donâ??t forget to blow bubbles for the next winter. Some of the bubbles will be magical.
