It has been poring down for several days and I can see all the greens in my garden growing while I am watching. Today it stopped for just a short while and I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to get some shots of rain drops on plants. I must say that I am very pleased with my days hunt for droplets. Going through them I thought this one would be nice for the contest. It is a bud of a poppy covered in drops from the rain. When I had a closer look at them, they reminded me of uncut diamonds. I did not use a tripod and this photo was taken in the middle of the day just when the sun was breaking through the clouds. I am afraid it has started to rain again.
