I Love doing mixed media images and am trying to improve my style. Mary was originally a statue. I traced her from the original image to use her here. I also found a nice blue water shot to place her reflection on. For the background I used two types of cloud filters, added stars, a Nova and placed them on a dark blue background. Mary was placed over the background as a tranparency.When that became a solid image I flipped MAry and the sky over for the reflection on the water. That had to be made into a transparency as well as the water I placed over it. I then blended in the water edges into the background. Mary was just transparent enough to see light rays from the Nova which seem to eminate fron her.There 12 layers in this image I hope you enjoy! Thanks SO much for stopping by! Helvi :o)
