Mixed Media: Maximum | Negative and positive image of grass and raindrops combined into one with gradual transparency of negative on top. The negative is the pink you see. Kaleidoscope filter,tranparencies, saturation, cut out center and replaced it with new image from original shot,changed hue of center to blue.

Mixed Media Photograph of the Month Contest Entry
This mixed media was created just after it rained. I went to a meadow I know where the grass blades would be beautifully decorated with fresh droplets. Just seeing them in normal mode is beautiful, but I thought I'd experiment and see what I could come up with.
I combined the negative with the positive with a gradual transparency. After I made that a solid jpg, I placed it in kaleidoscope, found something I liked and twirled it again, then twirled that again and added more saturation.
Didn't like the center so I traced and cut it out. Created new kaleidscope image for center and changed the hue to blue. This is what I ended up with. I actually did nine of these because I liked what I was seeing and was saving portions for future use. This is actually #9 ,but the first I have posted. This has 3 layers.
