I get inspiration from a lot of things, one of them is the beauty of nature all around us. I delve into vivid memories of my childhood days spent roaming the boondocks of my mom's hometown in Tudela, Misamis Occidental Philippines in search of wild guava fruits, birds and exotic spiders which I would then collect to show my friends. If there is one thing I learned it would be that memories are very powerful tool in making the art. Done in oil on canvas, this work celebrates the beauty of nature's predominant color- GREEN.
