Along the road leading to Botanical Park, across from the Botanical Gardens, there are several Moreton Bay Fig Trees. The kids love to play hide and seek amongst the huge root system. Not long after I took this shot the boys dad came searching for them but as by then they were crouched down and well hidden it took him quite a while. The canopy of the tree spreads as wide as the base creating magnificent shade and shelter.
