This is yet another one of my paintings where I started out with one thing and ended up with something completely different. This started out as a desert scene, but with a few added trees, water fall, city, guess it's the Sahara desert any more ,maybe the outskirts of Los Vegas, but where did this water came from? No doubt it's just the mirage that the guy see's after he took off in the desert when he lost all of money, too scared to return home to his wife LOL.. Okay so I went a bit off there, oh yes the story line for this painting..... The city has all it's attractions, and highlights to keep anyone busy with work, entertainment,dining, shopping, etc, but it also has all the NOISE! Cars honking, people on cell phones, some arguing,some just talking in groups, but not enough silence, so we all need a place to just be quiet and enjoy nature, and this is where I found my solitude. You can join me but you have to be still shhhhh
