This started with an ordinary photo of a green apple. I sprayed it with water. I used the natural light coming through the window and a tripod. The background was originally a top of cookie jar in beige and light brown. In Photoshop I filled the light color with light green and the pattern in dark green. I adjusted curves and levels and also added texture. I gave the image a boost in the end. Perhaps a few other things was done as well, but I don't really remember. I suppose specs doesn't really count any more, but I add them anyway.
