We were wandering around the Long Bay Regional Park which is about 20km out of Auckland stretches alongside the Long Bay beach. Saw this bush which had unusual flower or seeds, not sure which. The leaves on the bush were very large and then amongst the greenery would pop up these brown spikey balls. I loved the contrasting color and textures. ISO100 Focal Length 28mm F5.6 1/200s
