This is an illustration to a story for children where animals personify the forces of nature. The red horse signifies fire, the warmed, the beauty and the danger. The idea for the picture and the tale came from the horses of an old Merry-go-Round.
The picture was painted on blank [digital] basic canvas in ArtRage 3.0.5. I used the paint tube, oil brushes and the palette knife. I used several photos of the Merry-go-Round, but only as reference.
