I did this image some time ago. I wanted to create a mixed media from a photo of peach colored roses and decided to keep the whole image in the same tones. This was not made for this particular contest at all, but I though it could be used. As I said this started with a photo of roses. I changed the background to the tone I wanted, added the fairies, and then put wings on them with a brush in PS. I then added a flood filter. In the end I run it through Topaz Lens Effects where tones were adjusted and a vignette was added. I then added a drop shadow frame.
