People say they can see her late in the evening on the day she died. She is just standing there on the other side of the pond looking at the Mill House where her husband and children still are living. Perhaps her whisper is carried with the breeze across the water: "Don't be sad my dearest, I will always be with you".

And perhaps her family sitting around the kitchen table eating their supper can sense her because they stop eating, lift their heads, look at each other knowing they are sharing the same thoughts. "She is with us tonight". Then they smile and the woman on the other side of the pond fades away just to come back the next year. On the same day.
Post Type: Mixed Media Photography
Mixed Media: Major | The background is a photograph of an old vase. I have added a flood filter and used brushes in Photoshop to create the grass in the foreground, the birds and the woman.
