Blue was my mood

Went to the garden nursery on Saturday and after a few weeks of family trauma and stress I wanted some color in the garden to brighten my mood. Wandering around checking out the yellows, pinks, reds and other bright colors non of which appealed. Then I saw this hyacinth, not only did the color match my mood but the aroma kept drawing me to the spot where they were on display. Decided to treat myself to the plant and took it home. The aroma is so strong it is overpowering and I can't have it in the house as planned but it is now under the pergola near our spa. The intricate spike is made up of so many small individual flowrs. It has helped to lift my spirits a little and after taking several photo's decided to share its beauty with you. Focal length 90.0mm ISO100 F20 1.6s on Tripod (Black towel on chair for background)
