Tangled Legs

When I was searching for some pictures to take I came across these two. A non-web spinning sider had caught a daddy-long legs. THe Daddy-long-leg spider had already been attacked and bitten. THe other spider was really busy in trying to draw in those LONG legs. He was running around spinning silk on each leg and trying his best to get those legs pulled in. I think I watched him for ten minutes and don't know how long he was at it till I arrived. I think one of the three legs at the top was already attached to a silk line. When the spider was satisfied with with his job, he climbed up the thread and then pulled the his daddy-long-leg prey up to his hiding place. It really was quite a sight to see! Hope you enjoy Thanks SO much for stopping by! Helvi :o)
