Single red tulip

Friday I did a photoshoot for a friend of my daughters, she runs a group called Fun on Fridays for intellectually disabled people and wanted some photos taken individually and as a group for Xmas cards and gifts. Happy to get some practice in as I tend to concentrate on nature photography rather than people. I cannot upload any of those taken as it would be a breach of their privacy but for doing it I was presented with a bouquet of red tulips. As I live some 45 minutes drive away and it was a rather warm day they were drooping badly on arrival home. This one did remain upright however so manged to take the shot. Apparently they are the only flower which continue to grow once cut and they dance with the light and open and close also, so as the house darkens they droop there heads a little more but in the morning they lift there blooms to the light.
