This is the twin piece to my recently posted painting Night.
It is often said that night and day are opposites, are they? Or are the one and the same in different appearances. The above picture is one of a twin set, Night and Day. These pictures could be hung facing each other or facing away from each other, accordingly to the mood of the viewer. In the above Picture Emma personifies the Day.
The ballerina is and was always the personification of the grace and the beauty of the human body. The ballerina in my painting is Emma, known to FAR members through the photos of my friend Patti [pattigirl]. I am very thankful to Emma and Patti, for the permission to use the photo of Emma as reference.
Post Type: Digital Art Digital Painting | | 2D Art | Night and Day are painted in 3.0.5 on blank [digital-] basic canvas; using paint tubes, palette knifes, oil brushes and frosting.
