I am so impresses by Phyllis's work, and red her tutorial about how to use the smudge tools on an existing photo. I got hold of the brushes and wanted to try them out. While I was doing this I was suddenly sitting there with a sky, so I could as well continue. Thought I should try to paint a face, which is something I have never done before, and this face first became Queen of the Clouds, Queen of waves and eventually a Queen of Snow and Ice. LOL Gwyneira is the Welsh word for holy, beautiful, white, pure + snow. I have used the whole day making this, and it is my first try, so handle me with care. LOL

Everything is painted by me apart from the birds, but also these are painted over. Eventually I will try to paint these as well. I also added texture to make it look more like a painting. It could be that I have used the wrong category.
