Pumpkin in Adelaide Botanical Gardens

A chapter in the book Flowers, plants and trees

Very unusual pumpkin

On my last trip to the Adelaide Botanical Gardens I came across their vegetable section. With the extreme hot weather we have had the garden was doing surprisingly well. The pumpkins were growing up on a sturdy trellis and this one caught my eye as both the color and bottom section were so different to your everyday pumpkins found in the fruit and veg shops. Couldn't see the sign as to what type. Focal Length 55mm F10 1/250s ISO400
