Goodbye England's rose
May you ever grow in our hearts
You were the grace that placed itself
Where lives were torn apart
You called out to our country
And you whispered to those in pain
Now you belong to heaven
And the stars spell out your name

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never fading with the sunset
When the rain set in
And your footsteps will always fall here
Along England's greenest hills
Your candle's burned out long before

You might think this is mixed media, but it is not. I was going to take a photograph of just a candle, but thought it would be a pity not to add a picture of Lady Di as well, But this would not only mean mixed media. It probably needed to be posted as a digital creation. Then I got the brilliant idea of taking a photo of the screen of my PC with the photo of Lady Di shown as full screen. I got the photo, but here was when all my problems started. I had to build up a foreground where I could put the candle, and not to close to the screen because I wanted the photo to be a bit soft. I eventually managed, but I had to experiment with all kind of extra light sources to get it right. I don�??t know how many photos I took before I got it right. Well, here is the result.
