Heaven's Child

Another child from heaven
Is soon to come to earth
From the safety of the heavens
Will his new family know his Worth?


Will the family that is rewarded
With this precious child above
Shower him with kindness
And shower him with Love.


Will they hold him when he cries?
And wipe away his tears
Or will his cries go unheard
And all he'll know is fear.


Will he know that he is loved?
And his life be filled with smiles
Or will his life be filled
With nightmares filled with trials


Will each day be a nightmare?
Where he wants to run and hide
Will he feel he's all alone?
With no one on his side


Our children are our future
That God puts in our care
This wonderful gift to love
These Children are His we share


So hold them gently daily
And show them they are loved
And let them know the kindness
That was shown to them above
