Light Photography Contest Contest Entry
Glassblowing is a glassforming technique that involves inflating molten glass into a bubble (or parison), with the aid of a blowpipe (or blow tube). A person who blows glass is called a glassblower, glassmith, or gaffer. A lampworker manipulates glass on a smaller scale, such as in producing precision laboratory glassware. Here at the renaissance festival, all wares sold are made by fine craftsmen such as this one. I own several of his pieces and each is a very unique piece I display proudly. Since this is a light contest, I thought what is the best light but of course flame. It may not win me points, but will make this man's day that so many of you are able to view him and what he does.
