I posted a pic a while back with the male and female great egrets mating. This is the product of that coupling. Two adorable baby chicks with mom watching and waiting for the dad to come back to the nest with food. There were getting into scrapes and getting very impatient waiting. I swear they were doing it cause mom was preoccupied :)

Taken at the wetlands in south florida.
