Mom was patiently waiting for dad to come back to the nest with some grub for these hungry chicks. I did not stay around long enough to see when he did. But these two had a table reservation and were getting upset at the maÃ®tre de! In fact, they were ready to bypass the table all together and go right for the goods. Now normally, mom will eat the food and regurgitate it up for them to make it easier for them to eat. Sorry for the graphic explanation. But it is the way it is. Nikon D7000: 1/2500s
