This night crowned heron is one of many different species at Flamingo Gardens that are cared for due to injuries that will not allow them to be released back into the wild. This one was heading back towards the nest where there was a young one waiting. Nikon D7000; 1/2000s; f/5.6; handheld 300mm lens
