| The angel was painted digitally on blank canvas. I used oil colors and brushes to paint the Angel. Two copies were made of the original painting. A stained glass filter was used on one of the copies, a water ripple filter on the other in order to create the effect of a wet window. Parts of the two filtered copies were laid over the picture. The layers were melted.

It was at the end of November. The weather was horrible. It was raining; the wind was blowing hart. The umbrella was useless in this weather. Everyone was looking for cover. Me too until I got stopped, by a decoration in a store window. A Christmas Angel was twinkling at me. Warm looking light illuminated the window. Street light was reflecting in the glass and the raindrops on it. It was magical. I wanted to capture the magic. Photos were impossible in that weather. Inside the store the angels did not look half that magical, so I decided to paint what I saw.
