Another photograph taken whilst walking round the block in September. Amazing how many different things you can find in such a short distance. This is a Callistemon shrub/tree better known as bottlebrush due to the beautiful red flowers. The red is probably the most common colour of these which are very popular throughout the suburbs of Adelaide and create a wonderful colourful display in Spring.
