Seeing this unusual scenery and colors in the sky I was immediately reminded of Prometheus, the hero from Greek mythology who brought fire to mankind.
I drew Prometheus into the photo, but left the colors and the obscuring haze as it occurred over the ocean.

Prometheus is a Titan from Greek Mythology who created man from clay, defying the gods. He brought fire to mankind and enables so the process of civilization. Zeus, aggravated this act of disobedience punished Prometheus with eternal torment. He was bound to a rock, where an eagle comes each day to feed from his lever, which then grows back until the eagle comes again. I some of the stories Prometheus remains at the stone for eternity; in others he is freed by Hercules [Heracles]. In western culture he is known for his intelligence and became the symbol of knowledge and scientific quest.
